â–« To who Elijah was born to he doesn't really know. He just knows her name was Megan and she didn't want him enough and he was taken away from her and put in the foster care system. System isn't always kind and it seemed to be Elli's luck to always land the more cold of houses.

He doesn't ever talk about it much. Though he was the quiet polite kid always stuttering and always trying to make himself impossibly small and unimportant seeming because then maybe, just maybe the bigger kids wouldn't bother him. Or the sicker of the foster parents wouldn't touch him. He was thirteen when he met his savior however. They got put into a house together and Isidro saved him from a rather nasty new round of beat on the new kid cause no one is looking and we can get away with it. They became inseparable after that even when they weren't placed in the same houses. Elli always wrote. They always found a way to talk. Then in their senior year of high school they started dating. It was bliss for awhile....then the dream fell apart. Abuse followed like anything else in his life and Elli has been drowning every since....Sort of. Recently he has become quite taken with a certain cafe owner....and it has lead to the most dangerous of games.
