there was really no need to tell him to be well dressed. he was at all times dressed well and in touch with the latest fashion. although, it was a bit of a pain at times, he really couldn't help it. regardless, that was no time for him to be thinking of tedious things. at the moment, he was looking forward to meeting his most precious person. it wasn't often that he got him to come out with him and it wasn't always that he wanted for him to be out. he was possessive of Tou after all and he didn't like it when others stared a bit too much. he truly couldn't help himself, if anything he felt he was an annoyance to him. then again, at the same time he felt that Tou needed him more than anything. perhaps it was the fact that they have been together for so long and now, he truly couldn't see himself without him. he had become such a great part of his life that he knew for sure that if anything was ever to happen between the two - which he greatly hope didn't - he'd be at a huge loss. he was pathetic huh? but he was this pathetic only when it was about Tou. although, he doesn't really show how much he adores him, he wished he did so more often. he let out a sigh as he took off his glasses, although, they were but a fashion statement, many thought he was either far or near sighted. it was simply fun fooling people. the thought almost brought a smile to his lips before his crimson gaze settled on the albino coming towards the table. I'm glad you could make it. he said as he let his gaze follow him, standing up as he came near the table and taking his hand in his own and kissing the back of it. I was starting to get lonely. he teased lightly.

[atrb=border,0,table][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true] ✖ It wasn't healthy, depending this much on another human being. But he was too weak to stand on his own two feet, too frail to face the world alone, and too empty to be his own man. How many years now had he been so dependent? Since childhood, this he knew. From an early age he had clung to Alan as if his life depended upon it. And it very well could these days. He was lost when he was not at the photographer's side, hardly able to function without a familiar hand to guide him and urge him onward. Their mere time apart today was tragic enough for the pale-skinned mute. But a life without him? He could never go on.
Roots. He was supposed to meet the other there. It was a formal restaurant wasn't it? He had to forsake the comfort of his hooded sweatshirt and jeans but it was well worth it, if the time was to be spent with Alan. He didn't want to humiliate or disappoint the man so he dressed as necessary without a moment's thought. He would do anything for Alan. And with a nervous haste to be on time he'd left for their rendezvous.
The mere sight of the man made his heart swell, his body yearn to just be within his presence. The beat of his heart increased with every step he made to approach, stomach twisting in anticipation. And as those crimson-colored eyes met his own he felt his knees weaken. A soft, subtle smile curled the ends of his lips upward as he was greeted and a cold hand was kissed. He nodded his head in a silent greeting, feeling guilty he could not vocalize his hellos. Swiftly at the teasing however a guilty look filled his face, snow-white eyebrows furrowing in worry and a frown erasing any hints of that smile from his mouth. He squeezed Alan's hand before dropping his gaze in apology.
He hadn't meant for the other to feel lonely. To be lonesome was the more awful feeling in the world, this he well knew. He felt it every day when he wasn't at this man's side. Pulling his phone from his pocket he began to glide fingers across the keyboard with expertise, his other hand still clinging to Alan's own. Raising he phone timidly he showed the screen to the other male, eyes still averted in guilt. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be late.

he should have known better than to tease him too him. he knew very well how sensitive Tou was and seeing that smile fade as soon as it came simply made him furrow his brows. his free hand traveled towards his cheek, caressing gently as he shook his head. I don't like it when you don't smile. he voiced, shaking his head once more as he read the text on the phone. I was merely teasing. I'm glad you came though. he wasn't lying either. if there was one person in the whole world that he wouldn't lie to - it would be Tou. he always enjoyed his company, the feel of his hands and most of all, he loved hi dearly. he knew well that perhaps he thought he was a bother to him but in reality, Tou was someone he could no longer live without. he couldn't see himself giving him up. ever. perhaps a bit selfish and arrogant of him, but that is how he felt. Lets take a seat. he suggested, taking a seat before he let go of his hand slowly, almost not wanting to let go of it. I did miss you. he gave him a smile as he reached for the water, taking a small sip before placing it back down and leaning forward. How was your day? he asked curiously. had he missed him? would he tell him? did he have fun while he wasn't around? these weres simply some of the many questions that always circled his mind when Tou wasn't around. although, the thought of hi smiling to someone else always made him jealous. after all, he wanted that sweet and innocent smile always directed at him. was he a bastard for monopolizing him? he knew he was doing it. he knew he had been doing so for so many years but he simply wanted him by his side and no one else. he just hoped that Tou would never get tired of him.

[atrb=border,0,table][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true] ✖ He didn't mean to be so emotionally frail but when it came to Alan he could not help himself. He wanted to make the man happy, to please him, to make him content in every way he could possibly manage. Being late and leaving the photographer to his lonesome did not achieve this. And though Alan admitted to teasing the albino still felt that guilt weighing down his shoulders. He should have gotten here more quickly. But for the sake of his beloved companion he set aside these burdens. He needed to smile. To make Alan happy.
Looking back up ruby-red eyes met crimson and another meek smile graced his pale lips. He nodded to the suggestion and shifted over to his own seat. Fingers grasping the contact between their flesh almost desperately until it was finally out of his reach and his hands fell to his lap. Slowly they rubbed along his thighs, feeling a friction from the slacks warm his palms as his eyes were set upon the other man. A flutter filled his stomach when he was told that he had been missed, a pink blush dusted across his cheeks. It always comforted him to hear this. He worried so often that one day Alan would grow weary of him and his dependency. That he would be abandoned. But little comments like this stayed his fears at least momentarily.
How had his day been? His eyes faded a moment and wandered off over Alan's shoulder as he thought about it. Not anything eventful had really occurred. Ducking his head he glanced at his phone, checking the battery. There wasn't enough life left in it to hold a full dinner conversation without it possibly dying. He needed his notebook. Raising a hand to motion for a moment of patience he leaned forward and plucked from his back pocket a tiny pocket-sized note book and miniature pen stashed away in the coiled rings of the book.
Laying it out before him he began to scribble away on the tiny paper, his hand motion fluid and quick. In a crisp cursive he wrote, years of practice from necessary communication perfecting his penmanship. Once done he offered it to Alan, that soft smile still lingering as he did. He knew it was probably a bother for the other to have to always read what he wrote, whether on paper or cellphone, but he truly had no better way to communicate. He had hardly bothered with in-depth sign language because so few people actually understood it. Too often he wished he could still speak.
I missed you too, Alan. My day was uneventful without you, but I cleaned the house. As if he didn't already keep it in a pristine state for the dark-haired male. I… didn't really do much else. How was your day? Good, I would hope.

truly, how could someone not want to want to be with this person? he was not only adorable but he was pure in ways that he couldn't imagine someone being. although, truth be told, he was glad it was him that got to be with him, that got to see those lips curve into a lovely smile that in turn made him smile. only made him want to make much more happy. was that such a wrong thing to feel? was it wrong for him to want this person so desperately that he didn't want a second to go by without having him by his side. the thought was a bit manipulative but he wanted to bend him and twist him around his finger. he was surely a devious man. he just simply couldn't keep himself from him and he wouldn't. after all, he wanted to believe that this man was his and his alone. a light chuckled escaped his lips as those pale cheeks turned a lovely shade of pink. tinging the white flesh and making him look much more lovely. a smile graced his lips as he curiously watched him look at his phone and worry about it dying and then reaching for his notebook. something that he had seen many times but knowing that he worried that he'd have no way to communicate with him made him quite content. once he was done fetching it, he let his eyes shift down at the hand the fluidly scribbled away before passing the small notebook to him. it wasn't a bother at all. it made him feel special to know that these words, these letters were meant only for him. he smiled gently as his eyes read the lovely words, feeling happy at the fact that he had been missed as well. I'm glad you missed me. I always feel like something is missing when I don't have you near me. he confessed as he leaned forward, letting his right hand stretch towards him. Thank you for working hard. he mused as he waited for his hand. As for my day, it was troublesome until now that is. I can only ever relax when I know you're with me. he really couldn't ask for a better assistant. even though it may seem as if he was trying to find ways to keep him with him, he enjoyed the way Tou worked. he was dedicated and efficient. not only that, he was the only person that could actually have him stay calm and not be mean while in photo shoots. although, despite of doing work the whole day, he found it to be boring whenever Tou wasn't around. It wasn't as fun as when you're there. he teased lightly once more.

[atrb=border,0,table][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true] ✖ Patiently Toulouse sat waiting as Alan read through his message, watching the other smiling down at the paper gently. His hands nervously rubbed at his slacks again, pausing as he was addressed. It was like the other man knew exactly how he felt. It was like a part of him was gone when he wasn't near Alan. Like he was only half of a whole. Even if it were just for a day off to rest at home it still didn't feel right not being by Alan's side and aiding him. Smiling a little more warmly he tilted his head to the side, nodding in agreement before he stretched a hand out to take Alan's. So perfectly his fit to the other's, like it was a match made together.
His brows furrowed in concern to hear that the other's day had been troublesome. He felt a pang of guilt for not being there to ease those troubles. At work the two worked so well in unison, the pale Frenchman making certain that whatever Alan needed would be there in quick and easy access. He knew that the other could get hateful or frustrated at the shoots, even picky with his perfectionism, and it was Tou's job to keep him calm. Whether it was by simply standing at his side or running out to retrieve snacks or drinks, he did what it took. So to know on his day of absence the other had trouble, he felt bad for not being there. His shoulders slumped slightly at the realization but he resisted the urge to apologize.
As he was teased again that blush remained steady of his face, a bashful look given down to the table. The compliments and flattery that Alan gave always wiggled their way into the mute's core. No one else ever had this affect on him. Their praise was always met with skepticism and self doubt. He only believed he did well or was worth something if Alan told him so. He was already so tightly wrapped around the man's finger he was almost akin to a pet dog, eager for it's master's love and acceptance. Alan was his master.
With his free hand he took back the notebook and scribbled in it. He refused to let go of the other man's hand, having been so starved for affection and attention since that morning. I'm sorry. After dinner we can go home and you can unwind. He squeezed the other's hand softly before relaxing his fingers again. We'll have the whole night to ourselves for relaxation. it was a beautiful idea in his head. Just he and Alan at home, cuddled on the couch beneath a blanket in sleep attire. It was the simple moments that he cherished the most.

he could be such a child sometimes. specially knowing that his day was a bit troublesome. he saw the slight slump of his shoulders and simply shook his head. It wasn't anything bad, just that I really can't do anything in a good mood when you're not around. his brows furrowed slightly as his lips curved into a small smile. he took his hand and caressed the back with his thumb, always liking the feel of his soft skin. he loved the way he smelled too, it was a soft and delicate smell that he couldn't help but love. wasn't he quite the dummy? truly, he was just simply useless without Tou, despite of how things might seem to others. ah, there he went again, apologizing. he pouted slightly and looked at him with a stern look. You don't have to apologize, I'm feeling much better now that you're with me... but.. he paused as he leaned forward, giving him a gentle smile. I'll take you up on the relaxation part once we're home. he mused as he felt the light squeeze of his hand, returning it with another squeeze. Ah... perhaps we should order. he said, realizing that his hunger had completely disappeared thanks to Tou's presence. What would you like? he asked as he opened the menu with his free hand, not daring to let go of his hand. he simply wanted to keep him like this always. although, now that he thought on it, he would rather leave and go home to taste Tou's food instead, it was always delicious and made with care just for him. however, he did want to give him a pleasant night before going home.

[atrb=border,0,table][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true] ✖ His guilt was eased a little to know the day hadn't been that bad but he still felt a bit of failure in himself for not being there to make sure the other stayed in a good mood. It was comforting to know that he was perhaps the only one who could really make the man feel such a way but that was probably selfish and bad to think wasn't it? Wanting to be the only one who could make Alan genuinely feel happy. He was probably a terrible person for that thought but he didn't dare let himself linger on that thought, to permit himself to bring down his own mood with shame.
He smiled softly as his hand was caressed, cherishing the warm presence of the other's fingers on his pallid flesh. He curled his fingers more to lock their hands together, not having a single desire to let go. he nodded slowly, timidly, when told not to apologize. He would, in all honest, probably still apologize. He was a man who felt the burden of guilt on his shoulders too heavily no matter the situation. He apologized not only for himself but for others and even for events no one could prevent. He had always been an apologetic person and it was a deep rooted part of his nature. He couldn't help himself, even at Alan's request.
Pink dusted over his cheeks again when the other said he'd take him up on the offer for relaxation at home. It always made his heart flutter to think about spending some quality time at home with the darker-haired man. He could just spend his life in such a way and never be displeased. Again he nodded, more confidently this time. There was no doubt by the light twinkle in his eyes that he was looking forward to this.
Ah, right. Order. They were here to eat dinner. Sitting up a little he grabbed his own menu with his free hand and began to skim through it. To be honest he wasn't very hungry. But he never was. Brushing a finger tip over a salad on the menu he silently answered Alan's question. It was always easier to let the other man order for him. Otherwise he would again struggle with that communication barrier when trying to get across to a waiter what he wanted. Alan knew him well enough to know what dressings he preferred, what drinks he liked, and any other little detail that was needed. Not a word had to be exchanged.
In return Toulouse knew just as much about his companion's food preferences. He prided himself in his culinary skills and cooking specifically to Alan's palette. Very little made him happier than to see his lover enjoying his food. And it was peaceful working in the kitchen after a long day of work. It had a calming effect. Heh, he supposed he'd make the perfect housewife if he didn't preoccupy himself as Alan's assistant.
